Nigerian celebrity Rema has prolonged his keep on the Hot 100 until 2023, making the only Nigerian music on the chart to begin the new year.
Rema continues his run on the Hot 100 chart in the latest chart, dated January 7th, 2023, as ‘Calm Down’ skyrockets to No. 79, up 6 spots from No. 83 last week.
The ‘Calm Down’ remix, which features American pop star Selena Gomez, has performed admirably in the United States, soaring at No. 74 also on Billboard Hot 100.
Both songs have sold millions of copies and have received over a billion streams on all platforms.
